RPS employs more than 500 staff across the UK who undertake the following activities: water leakage detection and pressure management; PRV/ meter maintenance and verification; water quality data logging; collection and management; asset performance; waste water surveys; hydrometric surveys; RWQ; ecology surveys as well as training and development.

RPS provides support services to the UK water and sewerage companies and waste water asset data collection services.A key focus in the Asset Management Plan (AMP4) period for the water industry is the reduction of sewer flooding. Sewer flow monitoring, asset data collection and robust technical services have a vital part to play in providing information on existing system performance. RPS is supporting seven of the UK water and sewerage companies through directly awarded framework agreements in meeting the challenges they have been set.
