RPS provides road and drainage design services covering residential, commercial, industrial and educational sectors. Our areas of expertise extend from private drainage schemes for new developments to the drawing up of the drainage strategies for major strategic developments. We have long experience in successful negotiation of works under Sections 98 and 104 of the Water Industry Act 1991.Our staff have a proactive design philosophy giving careful consideration to economics, health and safety and, particularly in this day and age, the practical implementation of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS). We provide design services in all aspects of highway engineering - including alignment design, pavement and materials design and junctions. Our areas of expertise extend from national standards set out by the Highways Agency to the local requirements of county highway authorities. This involves the successful negotiation of works for Section 38 and 278 of the Highways Act 1980.
