Further Improvement for IPPC and LCP Directives Implementation

RPS has been appointed lead consultant for the Further Improvement for Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC, Directive 96/61/EC) and Large Combustion Plants (LCP, Directive 2001/80/EC) Directives Implementation in Romania project.


The project is for the Central Financing and Contracting Unit (CFCU) and the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, and is being led by a consortium of multidisciplinary consultants: RPS, EPTISA, TEBODIN and GIE. The consortium's activities include engineering, architecture, land and water surveys, environmental consultancy, project management, air pollution, and waste management.

Further specialist short term expertise will also be required for three areas of the project to complement the consortium's skills. These areas are (click on the points below for more details):
