In addition to degree level qualifications we look for a proven track record of successful completion or participation in projects in your relevant field. We are looking for people who can demonstrate abilities across a wide range of technical and interpersonal areas.

What locations do you recruit in?

What happens after I apply?
Once we have received your application/CV it is sent to the relevant RPS Manager for review. All CV's are reviewed and suitable candidates are shortlisted for interview. Our dedicated Recruitment Administrator will contact all candidates and keep them advised as to the progress of their application.

Do you provide Learning and Development?
RPS's priority is to develop all personnel in order to maximise team and individual contributions to organisational objectives. Through our CPD (Continuous Professional Development) programme we encourage employees to take advantage of all our development programmes. We encourage staff to undertake professional training from professional institutions and appropriate bodies along with post graduate academic courses.

In addition we host a range of internal programmes for staff development and shared learning from technical to non technical, new employee induction, health and safety training, quality assurance training and project related briefings.

What professional memberships do you offer?
RPS has a policy of encouraging staff members to become members of professional bodies in order to keep up to date with developments in their field. We also encourage active participation in institutional events and committees.

Memberships range from the Planning Institute to Engineers Ireland.

Are there opportunities to travel?
Yes. Depending on the role there will be a need to travel from time to time to other offices, to visit projects on site or perhaps to be placed on site for a period of time. Some of our roles involve complete site based work, for example as a Resident Engineer. Additionally as part of a worldwide organisation there may be opportunities to travel to other RPS offices as positions arise.

It is all work and no play?
In RPS we believe in balancing a challenging career with a fun atmosphere. We have an active sports and social club that regularly organises activities for our staff. Activities include Marathon running, Golf, Tennis, Ten Pin Bowling, Pub Quiz's, Fancy Dress Parties, Tag Rugby, Hill Walking,Christmas Parties, Week-ends Away and Social Nights.
