Air Quality
RPS provides permitting and compliance support for a wide variety of industrial clients including natural gas production and transmission systems, refineries, chemical plants, electric generating plants, bulk handling facilities, metals production, manufacturing / painting, and crude oil / refined products terminals and pipelines. These services include:
NSR/PSD/NA Permitting Assistance. Permitting assistance such as is required when new units are built or existing ones are modified. The development of a permitting strategy and preparation of the requisite applications can involve emissions control technology review, emission calculation, air dispersion modeling, health effects review, and negotiating directly with state and federal agencies.
Auditing/Compliance Services. RPS provides assistance with interpreting and complying with state and federal air quality regulations. RPS supports our clients by providing internal “self audits” as well as assistance in settling compliance issues with the state and federal agencies.
Litigation Support. RPS supports a number of law firms by providing expert witness analysis and testimony in contested case hearings or other legal matters.
On-site Assistance. RPS is able to provide experienced professionals to serve or clients by acting as the company representative responsible for day-to-day air quality tasks and, in some cases, acting as on-site environmental manager
