Carbon Capture and Sequestration Western Canada
RPS is providing engineering advisory services to a number of CO2 EOR and CCS projects in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. These include the Weyburn field (CO2 EOR and storage), the Zama field (acid gas EOR and storage), and Spectra’s Fort Nelson project (acid gas storage in a saline aquifer). In addition, RPS has developed analytical tools to identify/rank reservoirs for CO2 sequestration potential.
Labrador Offshore Development assessment
We undertook a feasibility study for offshore oil and gas development examining environmental and ice considerations, drilling operations, year round vs. seasonal production (fixed or floating systems), transportation options (pipeline, LNG, CNG) and production forecast scenarios.
Western Newfoundland Exploration Program
RPS has been contracted to design and project manage a 3 well onshore exploration program on the west coast of Newfoundland.
