RPS Project Communications has been retained by EirGrid since September 2007 to manage all aspects of the public consultation process for the Meath-Tyrone 400kV Interconnection Development, a proposed high voltage power line from Co. Meath to Co. Tyrone.

We provide strategic communications advice, manage local and national media relations, as well as the public consultation process.

Throughout the process, RPS has engaged with over 12,000 members of the public, including strategic stakeholders, through a variety of methods, including open days, workshops, dedicated Information Offices, and phone lines. We have also regularly produced succinct and easy-to-understand brochures, which were made available to all stakeholders through the website, by post, and at the Information Centres.
