RPS Group

Corporate and social responsibility

At RPS we are committed to conducting our business in a responsible and sustainable way. We help local, national and international organisations achieve their social and community objectives.

All of our Group operations are carried out in accordance with principles of good corporate governance.

RPS contributes to environmental management throughout the projects that we undertake for international bodies, governments, local authorities and private companies. We have extensive skills that enable us to understand and advise upon the causes and effects of potential changes to the climate. With our work in renewable energy projects, and our integrated approach to architecture, engineering and environmental issues, sustainability is a key factor in our design projects.

Our inclusion in The FTSE4Good Index demonstrates recognition of our performance in meeting globally recognised corporate responsibility standards. Only by paying full regard to the welfare and development of all our staff, can we expect to reach the level of service that we believe is essential to our continued success.

All RPS Group staff are expected to adopt high standards of behaviour in their daily professional conduct. We are sympathetic to the cultures of the countries in which we operate, and comply with local laws and regulations. We also expect RPS people to give due regard to the safety, well-being and human rights of all project personnel and relevant local communities.

We believe that conducting operations with a high standard of integrity is essential to the success of our business. That is why we provide appropriate support and encouragement to our clients, suppliers, employees and the wider community.

RPS has supported TreeAid for over four years with charitable contributions
for some of Africa’s poorest rural communities to succeed in
the fight against poverty and the effects of Climate Change.
