RPS is recognised by the Ministry of Defence as a supplier of safety and environmental services for over 20 years through a number of Contract Enabling Arrangements including the Systems Safety and Environmental Assessment (SESSA) Enabling Arrangement and the Framework Agreement for Technical Support 2 on which RPS was awarded a place in September 2007.

An understanding and working knowledge of the Ministry of Defence safety and environmental policy and the numerous safety and environmental standards that underpin that policy are fundamental to the support offered to our clients. This includes the POSMS and POEMS directives.

Our team of experts provides a range of Safety Management, Safety Engineering and Safety Assurance support services. Our advice enables clients to develop, manufacture and supply products and services to meet the challenges laid down by Government Policy, objectives, legal and safety requirements.

Additionally, our experienced designers and Chartered Engineers appreciate demands over systems and equipment and therefore are able to provide an enhanced and more effective service. Complemented by our Health & Safety and Environmental business streams, with IOSH and IEMA registered and accredited practitioners, we are able to competently address the full range of safety issues.
