The planning system in the UK is becoming increasingly complex and now requires a much broader range of specialist skills to comply with the growing number of regulations and the requirements for consultation. Greater co-ordination is also needed, to bring these skills together in an integrated way that is cost-effective, timely and produces results that are commercially attractive. In addition to town planning, RPS offers planning expertise in transportation, highways and infrastructure, environment and waste issues, as well as engineering and energy support and advice in the public and the private sectors, where we pride ourselves on being able to offer integrated and tailored solutions to the requirements and expectations of different planning authorities.
