Ormonde Gas and Wind Co-Generation Project, UK
RPS has been appointed to undertake the Environmental Impact Assessment for the world’s first co-development of offshore gas and wind energy, in the East Irish Sea. When complete, Ormonde will have the ability to provide up to 150MW of electricity.
Olympic Village
Working on preparations for the 2012 London Olympics, RPS is involved in the development of the athletes village, rail infrastructure and on business relocations, advising on planning, transport, environment as well as building and urban design aspects.
Waha Land Masterplan
RPS overcame seven international rivals to win the commission to transform six square kilometres of desert outside Abu Dhabi city into an industrial park.
The RPS team, held the key role of masterplanner and lead consultant for this development. Completion of the 1st phase is due by the end of 2011.
