Planning Assessments
Current environmental planning policy requires that for all developments where there is the potential for land to be affected by contamination, an assessment is initially completed to determine whether the site is suitable for the proposed end use and to identify any need for further work.
RPS provides Environmental Planning Studies and Assessments to satisfy these requirements and ensure that the potential risk associated with contamination is acceptable. It includes the identification of any other environmental issues at an early stage, minimising any impact on development plans, and avoiding unnecessary delays such as flood risk, asbestos, sustainability, ecological and archaeological issues.
Where further work is required, RPS ensures that this is provided in a cost effective and commercially focused manner to support the project moving forward. These reports can also assist in demonstrating good due-diligence and frequently assist with future onward sale.
