RPS P&D provides comprehensive commercial advice and support on the management of the environment and the health and safety of people. The environment includes everything that may directly affect the metabolism or behaviour of people and other living organisms, including light, air, water, soil, buildings and infrastructure, their systems of regulation and control and other living things (flora or fauna). In non-technical contexts, environmental management often refers specifically to the management of the natural environment, that part of the natural world that is deemed valuable or important by human beings for moral, political, legal or commercial purposes.
