The Netherlands
RPS has about 375 employees in the Netherlands. We measure, analyse and advise on a consultancy or secondment basis in the following business segments:
built environment (housing, real estate and environment)
natural environment (spatial planning, water management and survey)
safety, health and risk management
laboratory analysis
Water Board of Delfland
RPS is contracted by the Water Board of Delfland to study the safety of the inland dikes near the cities of Rotterdam and The Hague. The stability of these dikes is expected to be insufficient. Therefore RPS acquires geotechnical data in order to characterise the soil, including the groundwater conditions.
Dutch Ministry of Public Works and Water Management
RPS has signed a five year multi-disciplinary framework agreement with the Dutch Ministry of Public Works and Water Management (Rijkswaterstaat). RPS is required to provide a range of services including environmental assessment; land and hydrographic surveying and civil engineering advice.
Deltares
RPS has recently been instructed by Deltares, the Dutch institute for water and subsurface issues to do the project management of it's new national office building occupying 10.000 m2 in Delft.
Deloitte
RPS has been instructed by Deloitte to advise them and their architects
on the internal space planning and facilities layout of its new
headquarters building in Rotterdam currently under construction.
When completed it will be the highest building in the Netherlands.
