Mesa Power Project
RPS served as the Technical Program Manager for the Mesa Power Pampa Project in the Texas Panhandle. When completed, the proposed project would be the largest wind power facility in the world with a 4,000 MW nameplate capacity. In addition to developing the wind power facility, the project included evaluation of a 250-mile transmission line to bring the renewable energy to market (including right-of-way acquisition and preliminary design). RPS provided consulting and project management services for most aspects of the development phase of the project.
