Energy & Waste
Energy
RPS has over 25 years experience of the energy business in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
We have played a central role in the planning and development of natural gas
infrastructure and pipelines including the supply to Dublin, Belfast, Galway,
Limerick and Waterford.
Since January 2007 we have been consultants to the Corrib Partners for the re-routing of the Corrib Onshore Gas Pipeline in County Mayo where we have a challenging stakeholder management role in addition to planning engineering
and environmental assessment.
RPS is also involved in strategic studies for renewable energy including clean and efficient Combined Heat and Power (CHP) and district heating from waste and other bio fuels. We have advised on national
energy policy and economics including
the possible conversion to bio energy
from agricultural residues, growth in bio
diesel crops and other renewable fuel.
