Project:
Application for a river served energy from waste (EfW) plant with a capacity for treating 585,000 tonnes per annum of residual municipal and commercial waste generating 72MW of electricity for export to the national grid (enough to power 66,000 homes) and 30MW of steam/heat to a local network. Use of Thames Barges saved 83,300 HGV movements per year from London's roads (290 per day).
Role:
Planning advice, EIA consultant in relation to planning policy, need and alternative site assessment, expert planning witness at public inquiry.
