Leakage Detection
RPS Water have undertaken leakage detection contracts for the majority of water companies. The contracts have been on either a performance payment basis, simple day works or a hybrid of the two.
Performance contracting delivers cost effective detection based on savings achieved and improves the accuracy of data and security of reporting structures through the rigorous examination driven by the contract commercial imperative.
Pressure Management
New Pressure Management schemes are assessed using RPS Water proprietary software PMARS to analyse benefits and rank schemes to deliver maximum cost benefits.
Monitoring, maintaining and ensuring optimum performance of pressure management equipment can be as cost effective as direct leak detection in some cases but is often neglected for apparently more proactive work. RPS Water have carried out major monitoring and maintenance programmes for Severn Trent and Wessex Water and have fully trained and equipped teams capable of collecting and analysing data, determining action and undertaking minor and major servicing of valves.
