Leakage-driven Infrastructure Renewal
Leakage-driven Infrastructure Renewal
Project:
The Natural Rate of Rise in leakage (NRR) is a key parameter in the cost-efficient targeting of water infrastructure renewal driven by leakage. Studies have included the calculation of NRR and the development of the spatial distribution of average incremental costs of different renewal policies.
Role:
Strategic Consultancy and Economic Analysis.
Clients:
Wessex Water, Severn Trent Water, United Utilities, Three Valleys, Dwr Cymru Welsh Water, South West Water.
Results:
Robust input to Water Company strategic business plans; targeted asset renewal; maximised leakage savings at lowest whole-life-cost.
