Retail and Town Centre
Brent Cross Cricklewood
RPS has been appointed by the Brent Cross Cricklewood Partnership as lead consultant responsible for the coordination management, preparation and submission of an outline planning application for the regeneration of a major north London site totalling approximately 167 hectares.
Identified in the London Plan as an Opportunity Area, the Brent Cross Cricklewood site is to be redeveloped to create a new town centre. The proposed redevelopment will provide 7,500 new homes, 55,000m2 of comparison retail, 400,000m2 of office space, and 20,000m2 of neighbourhood retail. The plans also include new open spaces, community facilities, and a main line station.
Together with the GLA, the London Borough of Barnet, and other statutory consultancies, RPS was involved in the preparation of the Development framework for Brent Cross Cricklewood, which set out the key principles for the regeneration of the area. A masterplan document is currently being prepared in consultation with stakeholders and the local community.
