Goal Structuring Notation (GSN)
What is GSN?
Goal Structuring Notation is a graphical argumentation notation that can be used to explicitly represent the individual elements of any complex argument, based on visualisation of evidence.
Why use GSN?
By using GSN in developing a safety or environmental case, you will be introducing a confidence in the stated claims that is hard to establish by other means.
RPS provides training in the use of GSN methods, aimed at anyone who has a need to produce, review, manage or understand complex arguments in a simple visual manner. For example:
Safety and environmental case authors and reviewers;
Auditors and Compliance Managers;
System and Project Managers;
Technical authors.
