Stakeholder Consultation & Management

RPS offers a highly effective approach to stakeholder consultation and management for a wide range of private and public sector projects. These include major strategic initiatives such as waste management & incineration, gas pipelines, motorways, high-voltage power distribution lines, environmental management and biodiversity.

We identify stakeholders and clarify the issues that concern them – and advise on the timing and tactics of public consultation to achieve maximum benefits. Our approach allows messages to be communicated in a way that creates – among all stakeholders involved in a project – an informed understanding of the issues.

The benefits of using our service were recognised by the Irish Government when it asked RPS to manage two nation-wide campaigns: ‘Race Against Waste’– the campaign to achieve behavioural change and boost awareness of waste reduction, recycling and composting; and ‘Change’ – the campaign to raise awareness of climate change.
