RPS has been providing project management and operational support services for offshore site investigation projects and survey projects for more than 25 years and is regarded as the world leader in providing consulting expertise in these areas.
Our expertise spans all forms of site investigation; semi-submersible, jack-up and drill ship site investigation, fixed platform siting and foundation design, pipelines, flow lines and cables including as-laid and inspection surveys. RPS will optimise the clients’ project requirement either by instigating field survey projects, and/or by conducting geohazard data interpretations and pre-drilling constraints appraisals, summarised under Geohazards.
We also apply this expertise to offshore wind farm projects and emerging tidal stream and wave energy projects. We can provide a complete outsourced project management service, based either in clients’ offices or from our own regional offices in the UK, Australia / SE Asia and North America.
The ultimate objectives of the survey planning process and an essential part of the scope of work and subsequent survey, is to ensure that all available data are gathered, understood and integrated, as appropriate, to provide a cost effective, focussed, fit for purpose solution for the requirements of the end user. This may be carried out as a standalone exercise, or as part of a survey design and planning capability, summarised under Survey Design & Planning.
