The Planning and Development Division of RPS is a planning-led multi-disciplinary consultancy and holds a leading place in the UK, Ireland and Europe market arenas. RPS P&D provides strategic advice and guidance, as well as a detailed understanding and knowledge of the relevant planning systems and their regulatory processes. Acknowledged as experts in all aspects of planning and development from project definition to design, implementation and management, transportation, environmental assessment, infrastructure development, housing, commercial, retail, community, water, waste and energy, and therefore have a detailed understanding of most sectors of the economy. We are award-winning civil engineers, structural engineers, architects, landscape architects and urban designers. The P&D Division has substantial resources across most disciplines and the stability to meet the needs of large-scale projects, often with long-term, multi-phase development programmes.
