Wheatstone LNG Project, WA

The Wheatstone gas field lies approximately 250 kilometres off the, north-west Western Australia coast. The estimated 4.5 trillion cubic feet (Tcf) of dry gas reserves will be transported from various subsea wells to the Wheatstone platform in 70m of water where the gas will be processed before it is pumped via a subsea pipeline to the onshore processing facility just west of the town of Onslow.

RPS has been involved with the Wheatstone project since 2007 providing geohazard assessments, in house geodetic consultantancy, offshore QC on site investigation surveys and geotechnical investigations, in house geotechnical consultancy and long term in field support.
