Needs analysis and research into the wider economic and social impacts and benefits of aged care service development has been a key focus of this work, and our analysis has proved critical to the achievement of funding for an innovative local government-led development model.
Announced by Regional Development Minister, Terry Redman in December 2016, $46.19 million in Royalties for Regions funding will be devoted to the development of 150 specially designed, age-appropriate homes in the Wheatbelt and Great Southern areas of WA, along with key working housing in the state's far south.
